All that exists in this world

이 세상에 존재하는 모든것은

 

Will inevitably perish.

반드시 소멸합니다

 

Suffering that seems to last forever

영원할것 같은 괴로움도

 

Eventually disappears.

종국에는 사라지고

 

So do sickness and happy moments.

아플 일도, 웃을 일도, 결국엔 사라집니다.

 

It is a principle of life that everything changes.

모든 것이 그렇게 변하는 게 이치입니다

 

With this realization,

그것을 깨달으면

 

Aging or dying can be regarded

늙음도 죽음도

 

As just a process of change,

변화의 과정일뿐

 

Not something to be overly happy about

딱히 기뻐할 일도

 

Or agonize over.

괴로워할 일도 아니지요.
